For those who have seen The Dark Knight Rises you will know that Christopher Nolan leaves an open ending for a very brave director to continue his story, so why on earth do Warner Brothers believe that a batman reboot is necessary?.Warner Bros over that last few weeks have shown great interest in rebooting the batman franchise however they have stated that we wont be seeing the film on the big screen any time soon and have given us possible release date between 2015-2017.
If the reboot does happen which director will take on the role? Since it is a reboot it is a guarantee that Christian Bale will not suit up again as the cape crusader, also Bale has stated he would not return to the franchise unless Nolan came back to direct. In my own opinion i believe this reboot should not happen but at the same time there needs to be more batman movies. Should Nolan return? Do we need a reboot? Who can replace Christian bale? All these questions need to be asked. I will try keep you up to date on the progress of a possible batman reboot, but lets all hope that in the end its just a rumour.
